Assyst, Northern Virginia – Aug 2009: Assyst, wins the Federal Government contract for Operation and Maintenance of the ClarityTM environment at the Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC), Department of Treasury, Washington, DC. OCC uses Clarity to track the Large Banks Supervision (LBS) initiative. Clarity’s Project Management and Resource Management modules have been implemented for effectively supervising the LBS program. Custom resource requisition modules have also been put in place to manage the combined resource pool with Midsize/Community banks.
Assyst was initially tasked with conducting assessment studies, stabilizing the environment and helping in vendor transition activities. Later, the scope was widened further to support the production environment, which translates into ad hoc reporting to cater to Business Group users. Currently Assyst is performing the Operation and Maintenance of the Clarity environment.
End user related activities being carried out include taking calls directly from end users; collection and documentation of incident details; creation of incident queue and determining whether they are product defects or environment specific incidents; monitoring, tracking, communication and closure of incidents; providing Clarity navigation and functional guidance; and carrying out basic application access troubleshooting such as resetting Passwords, unlocking accounts etc.
Systems Administrator support services being rendered include maintenance of and making minor changes to existing reports; analysis of portlet performance and/or data issues; process monitoring; resource creation, maintenance and issue resolution; project creation, maintenance and issue resolution; data cleansing facilitation and actual cleansing where appropriate; system housekeeping and non-code performance tuning; assessing the impact of application changes on the level of ongoing assistance; acceptance testing of fixes; minor upgrades based on OCC test scripts; Clarity fix pack testing based on OCC test scripts; installation of hot fixes and service packs based on OCC test scripts; creation of test scripts on request; maintenance of documentation and training material; implementation of minor configuration or UI changes; impact assessment of new minor versions, fix packs and patches of Clarity software; report testing of new reports based on OCC test scripts; and standard report execution and distribution.
As part of Clarity Technical Services Assyst supports the incident lifecycle management process and provides strategic and tactical recommendations to OCC to maximize ROI. Assyst reviews requests for interface management from OCC, provides written estimates that include the effort and cost for the technical team to deploy the requested change and monitors the progress of the effort and ensures adherence to scope, schedule and budget. Assyst supports all the modules that are currently installed at OCC.
