Controls and Oversight – This service area ensures that the operations and programs of the Federal government and its external business partners comply with applicable laws and regulations and prevent waste, fraud and abuse. ASSYST’s expertise in the development and implementation of management controls and systems helps agencies evaluate, manage, and monitor program performance relative to IT initiatives. ASSYST’s activities involve the development and implementation of management controls and systems required by agencies to evaluate, manage, and monitor program performance relative to IT initiatives.
Risk Management and Mitigation – These services include activities related to the processes of analyzing exposure to risk and determining appropriate mitigation strategies. ASSYST works with Federal agencies to identify risk and prepare risk management plans for IT projects, initiatives, and ongoing operations. IT Security – ASSYST’s IT Security Services include the creation and implementation of security policies, procedures and controls to protect Federal information and systems from unauthorized access, disruption or destruction. ASSYST’s activities include the development and implementation of management, operational, and technical security controls required by agencies to assure appropriate levels of protection for IT systems and data are achieved. ASSYST’s IT Security Services involve all the functions pertaining to the protection of Federal information and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruptions, modification or destruction, as well as the creation and implementation of security policies, procedures and controls.
System and Network Controls – These services help to facilitate the planning, development, implementation, and management of system and network control mechanisms to support communication and automation. As a strategic partner, ASSYST works with Federal agencies to facilitate the planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling of the arrangement of the elements of protection and monitoring capabilities, and incident recovery actions of the information environment. Our process takes configuration orders and provides status reports, and supports the operational and functional performance requirements by providing capabilities and services tailored to the technology infrastructure. ASSYST uses system and network controls that are based on acceptable standards and provides assurance to Federal agencies of compliance with such policies and operational guidelines.
