    ASSYST has won a contract for the design and development of a SharePoint Intranet Portal for a leading national provider of mental health services to state and local government employees. Under the terms of this contract, ASSYST will provide planning, analysis, customizations, branding and project management services for the portal site using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and provide roadmap for upgrade to SharePoint 2010. As part of this contract ASSYST will update the existing portal using workflows and custom Web Parts, adding document libraries, fine tuning and integration with home page, creating sub sites, and training and documentation. ASSYST will use an Onsite- Offsite delivery model on this assignment, which will result in significant cost savings to the Client. The new solution will enable greater collaboration while helping employees take more informed decisions through actionable intelligence, thus bringing more predictability into the entire process.

This is a multi-year contract where ASSYST will be part of the team to help State of Maryland to roll this to 64 agencies statewide.

    The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) has contracted ASSYST to provide Web Support Services to the Agency for Drupal based websites. As part of the assignment, ASSYST will design and develop Drupal based solutions, oversee and upgrade the Drupal infrastructure available within the organization, ensure sites are secure and deliver optimum performance, and offer on-the-job training and support to project staff, helping them define taxonomies, content types, permissions and groups. ASSYST will also participate in the design and development of web content management capabilities for the NTIA web sites and implement improvements to the web workflow processes. ASSYST will also help in transferring existing web content into approved redesigned formats and support NTIA in developing new media capabilities for the web site as they become approved for usage.

     

    NTIA an agency under Department of Commerce is the President's principal adviser on telecommunications and information policy issues, and in this role frequently works with other Executive Branch agencies to develop and present the Administration's position on these issues. A key initiative of the present administration is to make the Federal government more transparent and collaborative through the NTIA public Website.
